Business Development Research and Support for a Bid Management Agency

The Client 

Is one of Europe’s leading Bid Management agencies, specialising in helping businesses win contracts with Government frameworks. Conventionally these have been large corporates, but changes in the UK Government Digital Marketplace led to the G Cloud framework being launched to ease procurement of commodity IT services. This led to a situation where smaller companies were ideally placed to bid and win this work but were unlikely to have the skills in house to do so.

The strategy

The client had identified that there was a large marketplace of SMEs who had the capability to deliver these services but might not know of their existence and would find the formal application onerous. Loxley were asked to research potential clients and contact them to highlight the opportunity and share case studies of other SMEs who had won a place on previous frameworks.
